The European Commission, through the Executive Agency for SMEs in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network, has organized on the 25th and 26th April at the Hannover Messe, the world’s biggest industrial fair, a meeting among 25 leading European clusters in the sectors of energy, environment and industry with their counterparts from the United States.
The Energy Cluster of the Valencia Region and two more clusters from Spain (Energy Basque Cluster and Galician Food Cluster) will attend this event invited by the European Commission. This meeting aims to exchange good practices and to create an environment conducive to the formation of collaboration consortia among European and American companies.
This year’s partner country is the United States, and it will bring to the Fair an important institutional delegation led by President Mr. Barack Obama, who is expected to be accompanied by the largest U.S. manufacturing delegation ever to appear at the world’s largest industrial trade show and he will open the exhibition on April 25th along with Chancellor Mrs. Angela Merkel. For his part, the US Deputy Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Bruce Andrews, will participate in the meeting among clusters.
