On October 16, we will be celebrating a new day dedicated to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence in the energy sector and the challenges posed by its growing implementation. will be the HUB Sabadell, C/ del Justícia, 2, 4, Low, Eixample, 46004 Valencia, with a schedule of approximately 9.30 to 12.30 h.
After a first edition is focused on the state of the technology and its main areas of application, this new day give you a step forward to address how to move the artificial intelligence from the pilot testing until their effective integration into businesses, assets and energy infrastructures.
Under the title \”AI for energy, energy for the IA\”, the meeting will bring together representatives of the energy sector, technology companies, research centers, public authorities and specialists to analyze two transformations are closely related.
On the one hand, it will examine how artificial intelligence can help to improve the prediction, planning and operation of the energy system; to facilitate the integration of renewable energies and storage; optimize the consumption and flexibility; to anticipate failures in assets and support business decision-making.
On the other, will be dealt with a challenge to the increasingly important: the energy needed to sustain the development of its own artificial intelligence. The growth of the data centers, the availability of electrical power, and the capacity of the networks, the energy efficiency and the integration of renewable generation and storage are setting up a new relationship between the digital sector and the energy.
The day will also be attention to issues determinants for the adoption of real of these technologies, such as governance and quality of the data, cybersecurity, human oversight, regulatory compliance, scalability of the solutions, and the measurement of its economic impact and operating.
The objective will be to overcome the discourses general about the potential of artificial intelligence and offer a practical, critical, and results oriented upon their application in the energy sector.
